A high quality, stylish telescope for the more serious astronomer, offering approximately twice the light yield than the SkyMax-90 model and thus permitting a much broader range of astronomical study. The SkyMax-127 Maksutov-Cassegrain (Optical Tube Assembly) - being the top of the range - should satisfy everybody with its high resolution viewing.

The NEQ3 SynScan mounts use the same Go-To system found in the HEQ5 and EQ6 Pros-SynScan. It allows you to point the telescope at a specific object or even tour the skies at the touch of a button. The NEQ3 SynScan mounts are the perfect instrument for novice visual observers to enjoy astronomy with minimal setup time and in-depth knowledge of the night sky.

The telescope is optically very good, giving clear, sharp images. Both the NEQ3 and EQ5 SynScan are excellent mounts; pleasingly firm, with little vibration and easily set up. Tracking is also very satisfactory.
