The fifth generation BGA series, BGA Classic binoculars offer the enthusiast even greater levels of performance over preceding PC.AG.N models. As such the new specification further enhances the quality and value of these market leading waterproof roof prism binoculars. All the models use the new 'OASIS' coating to replace the silver coating used on all previous BGA PC.AG N models. 'OASIS' is the name given to a complex 64 layer coating process applied to the reflective surface of each roof prism. That application of 'OASIS' improves light emission to 99% at the reflective face - measurably increasing light transmission through the prism and further improving the clarity of the images you see.

All the models continue to benefit from PC phase correction and feature fully integrated Opticron 'N' type multi-coatings on all air/glass surfaces within the remainder of the optical system. The results provide the user with a superb balance of image brightness and high colour contrast for accurate wildlife observation across a wide range of light conditions.

The long focal length, long eye-relief eyepieces are designed to both maximise viewing comfort and deliver full field of view with or without glasses. In the BGA Classic these eyepieces are fitted securely inside lightweight polycarbonate housings incorporating a rotary rubber eyecup mechanism and click stop dioptre adjustment.

The Binoculars are fully nitrogen waterproof to a depth of 5 metres and as such guarantee high performance viewing whatever the weather - from infinity focus down to just 2 metres.

The distinctively styled rubber armouring whilst ensuring maximum protection is specially shaped to reduce weight wherever possible. The results are felt in superb handling and balance with finished weights by far the lightest of any comparable binoculars.
